Multitasking Makes You Stupid – Replay
In February of 2003, Sue Shellenbarger wrote an article entitled “New Studies Show Pitfalls Of Doing Too Much at Once.” As you can imagine, the article went viral the old-fashioned way–it was copied and pass around. In the article Sue states “A growing body of scientific research shows one of jugglers’ favorite time-saving techniques, multitasking, can actually make you less efficient and, well, stupider.” I recall reading and sharing the article far & wide–because I believe that multitasking does indeed make you less effective. Here’s an Infographic that sums it up nicely.
